Save her. A woman who comes from the past entrusts this message to a young TV reporter who is a rising star. But who must be saved? And how can the course of time be stopped to prevent the powers of Evil from bringing to fruition a terrible fate predestined for centuries? Young reporter, Chiara Bonelli, has the Gift. When as a child she saw things that others did not, her mother told her: «Close your eyes, you'll see that they'll disappear».

But in her mind, Chiara continued to see what people and places concealed, especially if pain or death had been experienced. One day in an ancient noble palace outside Rome a mysterious Lady appears. In a far off past she had suffered a violent death; but the Lady does not seek revenge for herself, she is the ambassador of an important message: there is a woman in mortal danger. Chiara must find her and save her, time is running out.

The young reporter must overcome her fear, as she cannot avoid such a great responsibility knowing that the fate of an innocent person is in her hands. Suddenly, the son of one of her friends vanishes. Perhaps Chiara can be of help: but how can she command her visions that are as swift and devastating as a fever? How can she help her friend and at the same time stop the countdown for that unidentified victim?

In a plot that weaves together the true story of Livia Colonna della Rovere and current events involving the international jet set with its fabulous homes and parties for Hollywood stars, scenes unfold of bloodthirsty battles for power in Rome of the 1500's and dangerous contemporary games that involve unscrupulous financiers and young people in search of themselves. Passion and hatred, violence and satanic cults, history and mystery are at the heart of Silvana Giacobini's new novel which consecrates her position as the queen of feminine suspense.
