Her life, career, encounters, loves, her celebrity and the hottest public and private successes: when Valeria Marini bares herself, she does it with class. Confessions, revelations, anecdotes and advice are the program for her Intimate Lessons: the story of a successful woman and her semi-serious rules for attaining and maintaining that success. From her first crush on a young artist “with stars in his eyes» to her theatre debut with Mario Scaccia and a broken arm, from her TV exploit in Bagaglino to the San Remo triumph: the rise of the Blond Star who Federico Fellini wanted to “live” in and with whom Alberto Sordi made one of his last films, is also told by the many famous people who have been in her life. Franco Zeffirelli, Pippo Baudo, Lella Bertinotti, Alba Parietti, Bruno Vespa, Dolce&Gabbana, Renato Zero and many others reveal unusual details about this tender celebrity who has made her existence a work of art - POPularity. In addition, for the first time ever, Valeria reveals all the behind the scenes of her relationship with Vittorio Cecchi Gori, describing love at first sight, the famous night of the break-in, the mystery of the saffron little bundle, the financial and legal misadventures, the fights that shattered their love. And the Senator, despite his natural reluctance, talks about her again in an exclusive interview. An intriguing closed insert entitled V.M. (Valeria Marini from A to Z Forbidden to Minors: to the reader the choice of opening it or not) and a round-up of colour photos covering the most important moments in Valeria’s life complete this celebrity book that is also a visible biography.

Valeria Marini is «the last star after Loren and Lollobrigida» says Franco Zeffirelli. Born in Rome in ’67 under the sign of Taurus, she began her theatre career in The Sunshine Boys directed by Mario Scaccia. In TV, she debuted as a star in the program Bagaglino. In the cinema she was directed by Bigas Luna in Bambola and by Alberto Sordi in Incontri proibiti. But the Blond Star is an eclectic icon that goes further than just entertainment. The calendars she did shot by masters like Helmut Newton and David Lachapelle have become custom, the title of her TV spot, «Videochiamami» has become part of the collective language and with the collection Seduction Diamonds, a fashion neologism, star wear, was coined. The secret of this success? Read her Intimate Lessons.
